I was talking about this here blog with a friend today. And I for-sure-finally realized that I am just not happy with the direction it’s been going lately.
Too much Mommy Blogger. Not enough Napa Valley.
I love my kid and all (more than I ever imagined possible), but the original goal here was to provide a resource to Napa Valley visitors, visitors who happen to have kids. And who want to bring those kids along on their trip.
(And for locals too.)
“Puhshaw” or “Heavens no” or even “Hell no”, some may think. And say.
But, believe it or not, people raise kids here. And it is a most wonderful place to raise kids. And it can be a most wonderful place to visit with kids.
You just need to know where, and where not, to go. Just like anywhere else.
So, this NaBloPoMo month (do you know I haven’t participated since November?) I am refocusing and will be attempting to get back to my original aim: to tell you about all the great things to do in the Napa Valley with kids.
I think I will also pepper in some ideas about what to do when you get a babysitter too. Because we all need those awesome babysitters.
Boy, this is going to be a lot of work. Here we go.
