Where I live in California, mid-September is definitely still summertime.
Days can reach upwards of 100 degrees, the sun is shining (after the morning fog burns off), gardens are in full bloom.
It’s funny for me this time of year, where I live in California.
Born and raised in the Midwest, mid-September intrinsically means autumn.
Time to prepare for winter; installing the storm windows & doors, closing down the pool, pulling the garden.
Some days, where I live in California, I am ready to be done with this garden already.
Other days, I knock some sense into myself and enjoy my garden.
