I feel so blessed to have spent a lovely Mother’s Day weekend with family. I was born on Mother’s Day, so this is always a most special holiday for us.

We went down to my parents’ home in the South Bay, and started with a mani-pedis–Samantha’s first:

I can hardly believe that my darling is now four years old. It truly does seem like just yesterday that she was our “shaky little blob.”

It’s hard to believe that Samantha’s friends are turning four.

I suppose that means she’ll be turning four soon too. How can that be?
