So I have decided to take part in NaBloPoMo this November.
I have to first give credit to my dear friend Helen Jane, from whom I’ve learned Many Things Internet.
If you haven’t heard of NaBloPoMo, you can click on that link up there (HJ’s is a good one to click on too), or I can tell you that it stands for National Blog Posting Month and it’s an organization devoted to the idea of the practice of blogging daily.
If you have a long-time blog, you’re likely already aware of NaBloPoMo.
If you have a new blog (like me), you’re intrigued by this idea/challenge of posting every day for one month straight.
If you don’t have a blog, you probably couldn’t care less. But you should know that it does take a good deal of thought, effort and time to create a decent blog post.
Anyway, my aforementioned friend has mentioned that she likes a theme when participating in NaBloPoMo. I am a fan of themes. I want a theme too.
And since I live in the Napa Valley and I want this here blog to be about living in wine country, I’ve decided that my NaBloPoMo theme this month is:
WINERIES
Here is a photo I took today while at a Harvest Party at Neyers Vineyards, set in the hills a curvy, 15 minutes east of Saint Helena:
